A Little Life Update: School, Books, and New Beginnings

Hi everyone! I wanted to sit down and write a little life update since things have been pretty busy lately. I haven’t shared as much as I normally do, but a lot of good things have been happening behind the scenes.

First off, midterms are officially over, and I’m really proud of how they went. I ended up getting two B’s on my midterms, and overall, my grades right now are mostly A’s and B’s, which makes me really happy. School has definitely been keeping me busy, but in a good way. I’ve been trying really hard to stay focused and keep up with everything, and it feels nice to see that effort paying off.

Another exciting update is that I’m currently serving as the President of Club LIT, which has been such an amazing experience so far. Being involved in something centered around literature and creativity is really meaningful to me. I love being part of something that encourages reading, expression, and connection with others who enjoy books and storytelling too.

Speaking of reading, I’ve also been trying to get back into reading more consistently lately. There was a time when I used to read all the time, and I realized how much I miss that. Reading has always been such a positive outlet for me—it helps me process my emotions, reflect on things, and just slow down for a little while. It’s also a really nice way to step away from screens, which is something I’ve been trying to do more intentionally. Reducing my screen time and replacing some of that time with books feels like a really healthy change.

Because of that, I’ve also been thinking a lot about creating content centered around books and reading. I’ve had the idea for a long time to start sharing more about the books I read and maybe even creating some YouTube content. To be honest, I’ve been pretty nervous about actually doing it. It’s something I’ve wanted to try for a while, but I kept letting my nerves stop me.

But recently I decided that instead of waiting until I feel completely ready, I’m just going to go ahead and start the journey. I’m hoping to begin creating some of that content within the next few weeks. I’m definitely a little nervous, but I’m also really excited. Sometimes the best way to grow is just to dive in and see where things go.

Overall, things have been busy but positive. I’m focusing on school, continuing to grow in my leadership role with Club LIT, reconnecting with reading, and pushing myself to try new things creatively.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me and follow along with my journey; it really means more than you know.

Here’s to new chapters, both in books and in life.
